If you’d like to book via text, we take appointments on 07870 849351. Please make sure that you leave your name and a mobile number and we’ll call you back as soon as we can.

Please let me know in advance if you have to cancel an appointment as I have a waiting list and I may be able to offer your appointment to someone else. I know that emergencies happen and advance notice isn’t always an option, but if you could let me know as soon as you know you can’t make it, that would be really helpful and much appreciated the team here and any clients waiting for a cancellation! We take your card details when making a booking through a company called Stripe who will automatically take 50% of what the treatment costs for late cancellations and no shows.
• If you haven’t arrived for your appointment by the booked time, and I haven’t heard from you, I’ll attempt to contact you on the mobile number you’ve given me to see if you are on your way or if you are unable to make it for some reason.
• If I’m unable to contact you at all, I will have to record a ‘no-show’ and I’m afraid I won’t be able to rebook your appointment.
• We take card details with all online bookings. 50% of the treatment will not be returned to you if you simply don’t arrive for an appointment with no explanation.
• If you’ve had a last-minute emergency and were unable to let us know, these things happen and if you explain the situation I’ll happily rebook you.
We accept Credit and Debit Cards, Cash, Cheques & bank transfers.
Bare Essentials takes your security seriously, so we the same technology and security measures as many high street and online brands. We never receive or hold your full credit card details – they are handled via our payment gateway provider Stripe, who add an additional layer of security.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before your treatment or do not turn up Stripe will authorise full payment of that treatment. 48 hours we will charge you 50%.
Our salon opening hours are as follows;
Monday- 9am – 8.30 pm
Tuesday- 9am – 8.30 pm
Wednesday- 9am-2.30 pm
Thursday- 9am – 8.30 pm
Friday- 10am – 8.30 pm
Saturday- 9am – 1 pm 0R 12pm – 1pm
Sunday- 10-3 pm

If we haven’t replied within 24 hours please try contacting us a different way incase your message has got lost. We will always respond within 24 hours latest.

Coming from London Road A417, turn off onto Main Street, West Hagbourne and follow the road round past the garage and pub (Horse & Harrow) on your right.
Continue through the narrow part of Main Street until you see the duck pond on the corner on your right. Pull in here and go down the lane on the left.
Bare Essentials is on the corner first on your right at Lilley Cottage.
